How to make your stereo mix work in recording music together with your voice

This is a very funny and weird story on how I made my stereo mix work in recording music together with my voice. So, what I mean is record music/sound coming out from my laptop and record my voice going in to the laptop from my microphone.

I tried Virtual Audio Cable although I already have a built-in stereo mix on my laptop. But while I learn how to set up these things in VAC like enabling Line 1, listen to this device blah blah blah, I just discovered that it is also just that simple in my built-in stereo mix. But if you guys don't have built-in stereo mix, I recommend you to use Virtual Audio Cable. But this is not as good as stereo mix because your mic will be delayed. I don't know if it happens to others but that was my experience in VAC. Maybe mine was just getting delayed because I only used one line but never mind it and let's end the story here.

So here are just the simple steps if you already have a built-in stereo mix..I will not explain specifically where you can find what I say because I know you already know it.

First, right click on your sounds icon and click recording devices.
Second, make sure stereo mix is enabled and disable all other devices in recordings except for stereo mix. Set stereo mix as default device. Do the same thing in playback tab, set your speakers as your default device. Hit ok and there it is, you will now hear your voice in your speakers as you speak. System sound as well as your voice can be recorded together now.

For Mozilla Firefox:

First, download and install the firefox add-on Greasemonkey.

Second, go here and click Install that you can see on the upper right side of the page.
(Restart the browser first if second step fails to show installation box and repeat this step)

And lastly, restart the browser.

For other browsers, just skip the first step mentioned above because that is just exclusively for firefox browsers only.

Right-Click Menu turns black?

I recently experienced this kind of bug few days ago after using the best appearance for visual effects. I didn't experience this before because I was using the best performance option. I don't know if this kind of bug is a problem in the computer or the OS but the solution is very simple and quite weird.

Just follow these steps (Windows 7):

1. Start
2. Right Click on Computer
3. Select Properties
4. Click on Advanced System Settings
5. Advanced Tab
6. In Performance, Click Settings
7. Under Custom:, tick/uncheck the Fade or slide menus into view
8. Apply and Ok.

Now, try the right click and see if the bug is gone.

How to remove "TuneUp Undelete" on Right-Click

I just want to share this experience to you. I was wondering why this thing was still remaining in my Laptop although I'd uninstalled TuneUp Utilities. Well, this is just a simple problem that is easy to solve.

Follow this 3 simple steps:

1. Open regedit. Start>Type regedit and then enter.
2. Navigate to "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\shell"
3. Find "TuneUp Undelete" and delete this key.

And now, you've finally got rid of this mess.

Can't Uninstall/Reinstall Java?

I have experienced this before so I'm here to teach you what I did to fix this problem. The only thing you need to do is download Revo Uninstaller. It is a great tool for deleting or uninstalling a program. It searches the whole computer system for leftover files after uninstalling a program using it. Fix Windows Update Error

Turn on wireless capability

There is a switch infront of your laptop to turn on the wireless network adapter. If there's no switch, try looking at the F2 button and look if there is a tower icon and if so, hit it and look if you will be connected to the wireless network connection.

If these methods didn't work in your case, try going to device manager. Press start and then search device manager, tick on network adapters and then right click on your wlan card and update it for the latest driver. Check if it worked, if not, try this other method. Right click again in your wlan card and uninstall the driver, restart your computer and let the driver be installed automatically in your computer/laptop. The last way I know is by going to networking and sharing center in the control panel, change adapter settings, disable the wireless connection by right clicking on it and then disable. After that, enable it again and see if it worked.

Black Screen of Death Solution

I don't know if this exactly is the one you encounter too but you can try what I did to fix or get rid of this. I don't know what causes this problem but I think it is an error in registry. Maybe something was damaged in registry that makes windows or your computer not to start up properly. What exactly I encountered was a black screen during the administrator login of my laptop. So, instead of the login screen, a black screen was encountered and just a cursor. So, the solution I made was to press F8 before windows logo shows and then finally there will be an option for window repair. Hit enter on it and there you'll get into many options for fixing the problem. The first option will scan and fix the errors that make your computer not to startup properly. Choose that and if it fix your problem, you may now restart your computer, otherwise, choose the second option which is the system restore. Restore your computer to a point or time which you think you don't have any problems done or the time before you made the changes that make the problem in your computer. Wait until it is finished. Just ignore if it says that the system restore was not completed, restart your computer and see if it worked. :)
